About Event

Centre for Waste Management has housed the Gas
Chromatography - Flame Ionization Detector &
Thermal Conductivity Detector (GC- FID/TCD) for
analysis of esters, solvent and gaseous samples. The
facility is used in composition analysis of biofuel
samples exclusively biodiesel derived from both
edible and non-edible oils.

Hands-on training will be provided to cover:
Chromatogram (GC-Profile) acquisition
GC-profile interpretation for composition analysis
Fuel performance analysis correlating the
composition
